Cracker Jacks

Popped Corn (Up to 8 quarts)
2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 sticks butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Pinch of cream of tarter
Pinch of salt

Mix sugar, corn syrup, and margarine in saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add soda, salt, and cream of tarter.
IMMEDIATELY pour over popped corn and mix lightly.
Bake at 200 degrees for 1 hour. Stir after 1/2 hour.
Place on wax paper to cool.
Store in an air tight container.
