Hardee's
Biscuits
4 cups self-rising flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 pkg. yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water, then add, along with buttermilk,
to dough.
Put in lightly greased bowl and refrigerate overnight.
Roll out amount needed and cut into biscuits. Bake at 425
degrees until done.
Dough will keep in refrigerator for a week.
