Sweet & Sour
Sauce for Meats
1 cup sugar
1 Tbs. cornstarch, dissolved in 2 Tbs. water
1 cup white vinegar
1/4 cup ketchup
In a sauce pan, add all ingredients. Bring to a
boil while stirring. When the liquid has thickened, turn heat
down to medium. (If you like a heavier sauce, add more dissolved
cornstarch.)
Note: Leftover liquid from fried pork cubes may be added. Also,
1 cup of canned pineapple chunks, drained may be added.
